What is Cardinal Music Education?

Cardinal is a music lessons studio focusing primarily on guitar, piano, drums, vocals, and music theory education. Our trademark is an exclusive curriculum which has been meticulously crafted in consult with life long educators and musicians. Far beyond the technical skills of playing an instrument we believe that through music-making, students can become better people -- learning to persevere, to trust, to listen, to discern, to observe, to create, to critique, to follow, to lead, and ultimately to flourish. Cardinal is hosted at the Texas Music Cafe which you will find in the Heart of Downtown Waco, Texas (110 N 6th St.) The Texas Music Cafe is Waco’s only nationally syndicated music television studio and has been recording Texas music history with professional audio and video since 1997.

Cardinal offers unique, powerful, and potentially transformative educational opportunities. Beyond the technical proficiency of playing an instrument, our curriculum focuses on enrichment opportunities based in other disciplines including science, art, history, and philosophy. We believe that this helps students grasp the full picture and also assists in them synthesizing creative ideas of their very own.

Some other opportunities we provide are recorded recitals for students, learning how to produce your own audio and video content from industry professionals, performing and practicing on a stage, and an invitation to join a vibrant community of musicians.
